Bird Brand White Knotting

Bird Brand White Knotting is a clear solution that is used to seal and treat knots or resinous timbers. Used under wood stains, varnishes and light coloured paints including water based products this white knotting is based on a methanol/shellac mixture that prevents the sap in the knots from bleeding through and creating brownish marks. Easy to apply with either a brush or old rag make sure you completely cover the knot, and as soon as it’s dry you can paint, stain or varnish the wood.
