Macpherson Trade Eggshell

Macpherson Trade Eggshell is a great paint for covering block colour used for interior woodwork, metal and UPVC and is ideal for Kitchens and bathrooms or any other area of high humidity. This paint will give you a lovely smooth sheen finish, as the name suggests, like the shell of an egg. It is scrubbable and practical. Easy to apply with a brush or roller, this oil-based paint can cover approximately 35-40 square metres from a 2.5 litre tin and dries in 6 hours but you will need to wait 16 hours to overcoat so it will need to be left overnight for one or both of the coats depending on when it is applied.

• Make sure the surfaces are clean and dry and primed/undercoated if needed.
• Stir well before use.
• Apply with a brush or roller.
• Re coat after 16 hours.

Tips for use:

• If you are using a roller, get the sleeve damp and spin out the excess water before you paint, this makes sure the paint sticks to the walls and not the roller.
• Rollers best suited for oil based paints such as this would be foam rollers or any low pile roller such as velour or magic felt.
