Wilsons Original Devon Wood Oil We have been making our Devon Wood Oil for the past 14 years. This product is unlike any of the commercial wood oils from the nationally known companies because we use more expensive materials. In particular the solvent, which is pure turpentine from the turpentine tree, rather than aliphatic petroleum solvents. To make the point, if a large company made Devon Wood Oil it would be twice the price. For exterior use we add an ultraviolet filter which is not found in proprietary brands. It is particularly good on furniture, doors and floors. On bare untreated wood apply 1 generous coat leave for 10 minutes to soak in and then wipe off the excess, if there is any, with a dry cloth. Wilsons Original Devon Wood Oil brings wood to life!

Wilsons Original Coach-Kote clear coating Coach-Kote is not a varnish in the normal sense it is a clear coach enamel. But that doesn't say enough about it. Unlike varnish Coach-Kote is a "long oil resin" (rather than a "short oil"). This means it has a long molecular structure which makes it much more durable and tough. With the addition of an ultraviolet filter (suntan lotion for paint) this makes the product vastly superior to conventional varnish. It also has a higher "film build" than varnish so you get more protection, more quickly. Coach-Kote is a very versatile material, for example you could varnish your yacht or, at the other extreme plastic gutters and downpipes and plastic garden furniture which has faded and gone matt will come back better than new!
